We are pleased to share with you the Rapid Impact Assessment Report (2025) prepared by Myanmar Survey Research (MSR) in response to the devastating 7.7-magnitude earthquake that struck Myanmar on 28 March 2025.

This catastrophic event has caused immense destruction across central Myanmar, resulting in the loss of thousands of lives and widespread displacement. The situation remains critical as aftershocks continue to affect already vulnerable communities.

As an independent research organization, MSR conducted a rapid field assessment across 21 severely affected townships. This report offers urgent, evidence-based insights to help guide humanitarian assistance, funding priorities, and response coordination.
